MYM and RT: Stage Decors for Sinulog Festival

The picture above was the top-stage decor for the Holy Mass - as part of the Sinulog Festival at Cebu City. The said event usually falls on the third Sunday of January - as the feast of Sr. Santo Niño. It is usually joined by people from different places - especially who have promises to the Patron Saint.

I've joined Sinulog Festival for several years now; this year, it rained cats and dogs while doing the street parade, but still, the event was pushed through; and I can say that you can feel the cooperation of one another to make the event possible.

Whenever I visit Cebu City, I always try to drop by at the church and pray.

Students as Great Teachers

I have been an Online English Tutor for years now. We think that teachers help the students expand their knowledge, encourage to show their talents and inspire to improve their skills.

As a teacher, I also think that students are best teachers as well; they teach us to be patient, understanding, caring, sincere, hardworking, considerate, productive and loving.

For me, a teacher is considered effective if his/her students understand the lessons and use their understandings to become successful people.

For this week's Ruby Tuesday meme, I want to share this picture of presents/gifts - which I gave to my students who made a great impact in my teaching career and as a person.
